Where do you buy your furniture? Do you go to Ikea? A custom maker perhaps? Back home, sellers come to us. They bring their products by foot, interestingly when I was younger they were carried by carabaos – what we call that? I forgot. Maybe someone can tell us. ^_^
Nowadays, there are very few vendors left in the trade. Thanks to Maiy for this capture. It’s like going back to my childhood — down memory lane.
Speaking of where to buy, where do I buy my boys’ clothes? Random actually but for my older one I prefer striped for him. Makes him look “thicker.”
oh i miss that sight of wood craft sellers!
I buy our furnitures everywhere for as long as it says Further Reductions
Happy Thursday!
I love the selections in Ikea but it’s not within our budget, purita itech!. We always go to SM department store or Our Home para may points sa SM Advantage Card. 😀
it’s been a while since i have seen vendors selling baskets. now they have trikes, and a cow-drawn carriage.:p i bought furniture from Our Home, an SM-owned furniture store. i am trying to buy on line, it’s cheaper than mall-based stores.
big boy na ang anak mo…may gf na ba?:p
nako, wala pa haha wag naman sana ganyan kaaga, grade3 pa lang. lol
I like that part where you mentioned that you intent to make Kuya C “thicker”. LOL. I aim the same for my Ate K.
ganda ng bric a brac vendor photo mo sis 😀 ako i dont buy sa vendors kasi super mahalero sila! but sometimes it is good to give them business, too, kaysa they will steal di ba?
nako sis, thanks, that foto is Maiylah’s 😀 Truelala, aliw pa din makita sila…
kalesa? those horse-drawn carriage filled with native products. when u lived in a province like ours, ul see every seller that sells anything from “ukay-ukay, asstd veggies, fish on wheels, plastic wares…and more. pinoys are really “inventive”:)
different from calesa sis, yun hila ng mga kalabaw malalaking kariton…
hoodies tawag ba dyan? masarap maglakad at magkape sa ikea lol
Tumpak! we usually go to Ikea. 🙂
Nice shot of the “store on foot’ 🙂
Dropping by for beautifully brown 🙂
