The 85th Oscars Awards – with the winners and nominees aside, I am as always on the lookout for the gowns and dresses worn by ladies. Below is my personal list of IMHO, the best dressed this year.
Reese Witherspoon
Reese is one of the more established celeb on the red carpet an she didn’t upset last night. The 36-year-old actress looks so fab and fresh with her cobalt blue with black accent Louis Vuitton dress and jewelry. According to Reese, her 13-year-old daughter Ava helped her in choosing the right dress, jewelry and even her hairstyle.
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Although the hot and sexy Catherine Zeta-Jones is not nominated for this year’s Academy Awards, she still made sure that her looks and dress will make heads turn. Catherine, at age 43, still looks so stunning with the Zuhair Murad dress decorated with gold art deco swirls. She partnered it with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Her look at the Oscars 2013 proves that she still has the prowess to shine at any awards night.
Naomi Watts
Hot, shining and shimmering – that’s how I can describe Naomi Watts with her looks and outfit at Oscars 2013. Naomi wore a grey colored, shining silver sequin Armani Privé gown that night. The Best Actress nominee completed her look with Neil Lane jewelry, Jimmy Choo heels along with a Roger Vivier bag.
Charlize Theron
Simplicity and elegance is what Charlize Theron is at the red carpet. Charlize wore a Dior Haute Couture white silk dress along with shining, diamond stud Harry Winston jewelry and Roger Vivier shoes. Her super short hair was quite stunning to complete her look.
Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer instantly became the darling and center of attraction of each and every awards night this year. This is not only because of the awards she bagged being portraying her roles well but her bubbly and witty image at the stage is a refreshing sight. Her dresses seem to catch attention to themselves too. The Oscars 2013 Best Actress winner wore a pale pink Dior Haute Couture dress partnered with a Chopard necklace that runs through her back. Jennifer’s flawless skin and signature smokey eyes and updo makes the look perfect. Despite falling hard on her way to the stage to accept her Best Actress tropy, she managed to pull it off really well, a real winner!
