Very late in the posting but surely worth the space. The Duchess of Cambridge, more commonly known to us as Kate, went on a tour around North America with beau Prince William and showed off her charm – in casual, formal and all other dress codes you could name.
My personal favorites are these three sets. (Image credits: Getty photos.) Top: Dress (cream) by Reiss, a maple leaf brooch from Queen Elizabeth II, maple leaf hat by Sylvia Fletcher at Lock and Co. and a brown-red clutch by Anya Hindmarch. Gotta love the red hat…if only Princess Beatrice had one as elegant as this. Her clutch also has a native yet elegant appeal to it. This was her look for Canada Day…complete with the leaves of course.
Coat and dress by Catherine Walker, maple leaf brooch from Queen Elizabeth II and my-kind-of nude pumps by LK Bennett. She looks so lovely in red. She wore this ensemble in Canada too.
Flowing chiffon lavender dress by Alexander McQueen, shoes and clutch by Jimmy Choo (though can’t be seen in photo), earrings borrowed from Queen Elizabeth II (wow, for an awesome grandmom-in-law).
She had a number others of outfit but as I said these are my favorites…simplicity and elegance combined.
