Ann Summer’s model search winner is a size 16! Lucy Moore, 20, beat more than 30,000 contestants in the said competition. According to the campaign manager “”The campaign was about finding a real woman who embodied our brand and oozed sexiness and confidence.” Moore’s win gives plus size clothing for women a different exposure and awareness to the public.
Finding plus size women clothing used to be difficult especially at the same price of size 8’s or 10’s. Not all stores carry bigger sizes and from my experience, some store sizes are actually smaller compared to others. Nowadays, there are stores that especially caters to curvaceous women. Those stores are available online too.
IGIGI, an American designer of women’s plus size clothing is your one stop shop for dresses; cocktail, evening, wedding dresses even work and day dresses and a diverse collection of work attire to choose from
This blue ruffle-embellished blouse matched with a red belt totally shows that feminine style while showing the curves nicely. On the right, an eyelet black dress is a perfect casual dress for work and date with friends.
Plum dress is in and match it with strappy heels and a black belt and you’re good for an evening night with your beau. Accessorize as well for that glamour look…bonus is, this piece is the Kaori Infinity dress and one can wear it as halter dress, tube top, one-sleeve or both…the possibilities are endless. On the right, you’d probably fall in love with the colors as I did. The dress is adoringly in brown and teal. Its waistband & A-line skirt with inverted pleats was created to skim and flatter the figure…what I need actually to hide the muffin top. Though I can’t say that I’m already a plus size, it is good to know that there plus sizes easily available…growing bigger after all is inevitable, let’s just hope that the market will grow with us in the process. 😀
